Olamide Adedeji born on 15 March 1989 known professionally as Olamide (but popularly called (Olamide Baddo or BaddoSneh), is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist.
He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue. In 2011, he released his debut studio album Rapsodi while signed to Coded Tunes. YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation.

He was born in Bariga, Lagos State on the 15th of March, 1989. In 2000, he decided to pursue a career in music. When asked why music, he said: “I found out I was gifted in it so I had to explore it. It’s my life, my hustle, my world”.
In 2010, he released ‘Eni Duro’ under the Coded Tunes record label which he was signed unto at the time. The song received nationwide critical acclaim and instantly shot Olamide to limelight. In 2010, Olamide performed at The Hip Hop World Awards.
He studied at Tai Solarin University of Education.
Olamide was signed to ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes record label and was managed by Toni Payne. He later left Coded Tunes and started his own record label YBNL Nation in 2012.
Olamide’s released his debut album Rapsodi in 2011. Its lead single “Omo To Shan” charted on several radio stations in Lagos and across Nigeria. Olamide’s debut offering led to collaborations with numerous artists, including Wizkid, ID Cabasa, 9ice, Reminisce and D’banj.
His second studio album YBNL was released in November 2012. Which It was produce by Tyrone (producer), Samklef, 2 Kriss, Pheelz and ID Cabasa. The album features guest appearances from Davido, Tiwa Savage, Kayswitch, Dammy Krane, Reminisce, Samklef, Buckwylla, Minus 2 and Base One. It was supported by the singles “Ilefo Illuminati”, “First of All”, “Stupid Love” and “Voice of the Street”.
Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (abbreviated as BGEL) is Olamide’s third Studio Album. It was released on November 7, 2013, by YBNL Nation. He recorded the album between 2012 and 2013. The album was produced entirely by Pheelz, except for the thirteenth track “Sitting on the Throne”.
He later come out with four singles: “Durosoke”, “Turn Up”, “Yemi My Lover” and “Eleda Mi O”. Premium Times newspaper included the album on its list of the 5 yet to be released Nigerian albums of 2013. It was ranked 12th on Afrikka Radio’s list of the top 12 best Nigerian albums of 2013. His Album “Baddest Guy Ever Liveth” won Best Album of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and was nominated for Rap Album of the Year at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards.
On November 14, 2014, he released his fourth album Street OT in YBNL. The album is a follow up to his 2013 Baddest Guy Ever Liveth album. Preceded by the singles titled “Story For The Gods” and “Goons Mi”, Street OT where by he feature Pasuma, Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Phyno, Don Jazzy, and Reminisce. And the album was produce by Pheelz, B-Banks and Young Jonn. The ideology of the title of the album is to glorify and show his love for the “streets”, a word with which he is synanimous with.
In 2015 he collaborated with Phyno in to release 2 Kings. It was released through Cloud 9 and the iTunes Store with little announcement on 1 April 2015, by Penthauze Music and YBNL Nation. Where by he feature some artist such as Wizkid, Lil Kesh, Storm Rex, Pheelz, Major Bangz, B.Banks and Young John.
Olamide’s fifth studio album Eyan Mayweather was released on 23 November 2015. Released through YBNL Nation
The Glory, Olamide’s sixth studio album, was released on 23 December 2016. Released through YBNL Nation with studio production from Pheelz. The Album contains 16 back to back track with features from your favourite artistes like Phyno, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Akuchi and Davolee. The Glory is the follow up to Eyan Mayweather. Eyan Mayweather is a back up album of 2 king.

Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) Nation Label is an independent record label founded in 2012 by Olamide Adedeji. The name is a slang referring to young boy making money with no illegal dealings. Currently, it has signed many artistes: Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Adekunle Gold, D J Enimoney, Picazo, Temmi Ovwasa and many more. While the likes of Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh have left to settle his own label which he names after his street age and and his achievement (young and getting it) YAGI, some are still under the label.
In 2016, it won the record label of the year in the City People Entertainment Award.

Olamide’s musical success has availed him numerous opportunities to be endorsed as a brand ambassador to some top companies. Some of these brands are Hennessy, Globacom, Etisalat and many more.
For instance, he became the first Nigerian rapper to sign an endorsement deal with Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka, an alcoholic drink. He joined international stars like Rick Ross, Ray Jay, French Montana and others as an ambassador for the brand in 2013 for millions of naira.
In 2017, he became the first brand ambassador for Sterling Bank, thereby becoming the second celebrity in music to be officially endorsed into the banking sector, after Ice Prince.
Also, he became the brand ambassador for the Goldberg Lager beer in April 2019, joining Odunlade Adekola, a Nigerian Star in the movie industry.
